Dive shops definitely have some great gear that would be perfect for snorkeling.  If you have a dive shop in your area, I would check that out first.  You need to make sure that you get a mask that fits you properly and the same goes for fins.  After you try some on in the shop and know what you need, then i would check out prices online.  One of my favorite sites is www.leisurepro.com

Any good dive shop will have top of the line snorkeling equipment - even though we scuba divers consider a snorkel a mere decoration.
