  1. I dont blame you , especially with the price of oil at the moment.  I have a simple padlock on my tank, as I am always in the house when our oil is delivered, its not a problem.  Try one of the local DIY stores, they might be able to help you.

edit - We got 500 lt back in June and was £356.

Why dont you contact your oil supplier and see if they can suggest anything.

Also contact Titan and Balmoral tanks to see if they can suggest anything as well.

  2. Can I ask you where you bought your tank from, as I need one!

Sorry to ask you on here, Thanks.

  3. There is a problem.  The crooked b's who steal your oil don't worry about locks.  My oil supplier says, the favoured method with plastic tanks is to spear your tank with a piece of metal pipe connected to a hose to put your fuel into their tank. So they steal your fuel and destroy your tank at the same time.  Another trick is to use a cordless drill to tap your steel tank.  Its all part of living in Mr. Brown's modern Britain!
