I would suggest thinking of a different can opener. They work good, that's true, but they take AA batteries and when the battery goes dead, you have to use a screwdriver to get the opener off of your can. Not a great plan if you are making dinner.

Also, they leave the can with a razor sharp edge and you lose all the stability of the can.

I loved mine for the first 5 minutes I had it. Now it's a pain in the butt.
