Do you have to get permission if you do it in a abandon parking lot or do you have to talk to the police first. I would like to know because I don't want to lose my license looks bad when you are going to school to become a cop .

  1. Private property.

Parking lots are rarely "abandoned". Even when not being used, they still have an owner.

Now, if you were to get permission from the owner and block public access, you would most likely be in the clear.

  2. The drag strip usually hosts stunt competitions and shows. Or like the others have mentioned, private property with owners permission. Abandoned parking lots don't count unless you have somebody's permission/

  3. As long as you're on private property with the owner's permission, there's no law about whether you can or can't do anything with a motorcycle or car.

  4. Laws are going to depend on where you live.  FL passed a strict law about motorcycles keeping both wheels on the road.  First offense is $2,500, 2nd (don't remember but think it's $3,600), but 3rd is $5k plus lose your license for 10 years.  It's because of too many people making road kill of themselves.  (This was announced at the nearby Naval Air Station - dh heard it in a mtg)

  5. Behind the barn
