Were do i get cheap models?

Weleveryone as of a few months ago, walmart discontinued, and/or stopped selling revell model cars. They were DIRT CHEAP, $12 for a model. But now the only place in my town is in a drug store, or a craft shop, and they are both BIG$$$(last model i bought cost me $30). Any1 no a good, cheap website. I LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN OF 3,000 PEOPLE, I DONT HAVE BIG STORES, WALMART IS THE MOST WIDLY KNOWN.

Check out Squadron or Hobbylinc on the Internet. Or you can google other hobby shops online. Both of these have a lot of selections. Hobbylinc does not charge full price on most stuff. i can't guarantee everything on their site, but its been pretty good.

There are also manufacturers such as Testors, Revell, and Tamiya that sell online, but generally they are full price. But, if you know you want say a 1/72 Testors armor kit and can't find it online easily, that may be the place to go.

Depending on what your area of interest is, you may want to look at crafts stores, such as Michaels or Hobby Lobby, both sell on line, also Hobby Town. Michaels and Hobby Lobby have lots of car kits (I;m not a car guy).

You do know this hobby is addictive, don't you?

Also try Ebay.

For Michaels and Hobby Lobby, do the big bucks purchases with their weekly percent off coupons that they print in the local paper. They have store locators on the Internet.

This is just a start, if you really want some arcane stuff, you can spend more time on the internet than you can modeling.
