Were do i go find some acting auditions?

my name is samantha and i am going to be 15 and i have always wanted to become an actress and i think now would be the right time to find some auditions but i dont know were to look or were to go....so i really need help finding some so if u can tell me were to find some that would be great........becoming an actress is life long dream that i have and i am not just wanting to do this to become famous ......i just want to to show to my dad that i can make my dreams come true and to make him actually proud of his little girl..

so if u can help me find some that would bee awesome!!!!

dont go to backstage.com it is a scam anything that asks money to represenet you is a scam. agents are supposed to be free. thats why they dont represent every1 they are supposed to get paid only 20 % of what you make on commercials movies etc

www.backstage.com has a lot of broadway acting things if you subscribe. it's a good deal.

also, you will need a head shot (black and white), a resume, and a direction.

by direction, i mean to chose what you want to focus on: Stage, or film.

If stage, you will want to work on singing, dancing, as well as acting. Join local theatre groups to polish up your skills.

If film, you will need to work in the community theatre for a while to gain experience, then eventually you could move out to L.A. or New York.
