  1. I reckon it'll be Renault, if not then it'll probably be Red Bull.

I don't see him at Ferrari because Massa and Kimi are doing fine this season - currently leading the WC with Hamilton, and obviously Kimi won the last WC, so they probably don't want to mess with what they have.

He's obviously not going to McLaren.

He could go to Red Bull as a replacement for Coulthard, but I think that Vettel is more likely to be his replacement, and I think that Red Bull probably are looking for someone to drive for them long-term, as they try to grow as a team.

Toyota is a possibility but they're no better than Renault, and Fernando already knows the people at Renault. Similar for Honda...

BMW... I doubt it, Kubica's going nowhere, and I doubt they'll be getting rid of Heifeld either.

I hope Renault can produce a competetive car next season. It's great at the moment that there is a three-way tussle for the WC lead, it can only get better with more people challenging, and there's no doubt that Fernando and Renault can produce results with the right car.

  2. Probably Renault.  Maybe Toyota - not because Trulli and Glock aren't doing fine but more because Toyota wants to win and Fred could help them.  I don't see him at McLaren (duh!!), Ferrari (why would they risk it given how Fred extorted McLaren), BMW will either keep Heidfeld or switch for another German driver, no way would Frank Williams allow Fred at his team and then you have Honda (maybe they'll do better - maybe not), Toro Rosso (who may end up like Super Aguri) . . . and Red Bull where Vettel already appears to have DC's seat sewn up.

  3. ferrari could terminate massas contract at anytime as he hasnt done as well as he could have this season so he could end up there but i don't think he will stay at renault if he gets a better offer as the car is just too slow to give him a championship

  4. I hope so, for F1, for Renault and for Alonso himself.

The 2009 Renault will be a great improvement on the 2008 one; we don't need the best driver (Alonso) in the best car (Ferrari) or F1 will get boring again; Alonso gives his best in a "family" situation such as he enjoys at Renault.

Alonso at Renault in 2009 is a win-win-win situation.

  5. yes he is a great driver and can bring the team to the front again look this year he is well out performing the car

  6. He's been linked to Ferrari in 2010, Kimi's contract expires at the end of 2009 and he looks set to retire or look for another challenge.

If the rumors are true, then he'll probably stay with Renault in 2009,even regardless of their performance issues, any team that would hire the double world champion, like Toyota, Honda or BMW, would seek more than a one year contract  obviously.
