  1. You get stamps when you enter countries and when you leave. You don't get one when you get your passport. Only until you start traveling.


  2. Agencies very much open up your passport, find a clean spot and ink stamp it ... with seemingly no rhyme or reason where. Most are not readable. Only very rarely do they use a physical stamp placed in your passport. Hope this helps.

  3. On the visa pages. You usually get them when you arrive into a country (so they know what date you arrived in for immigration purposes) but if you go via car (especially around the EU) you may not get them (meaning if you arrived in France and then went to Spain via car you can say you've just arrived 2 days ago even though you've overstayed by about 2 months).

    Passports do not come with stamps. Their visa pages are nice and blank.
