  1. Yes, they were thought to be real. Do you know Medusa and her three sisters? They were either gorgons or gargoyles. It's in the greek mythology or Odysseus. And yes, you could make a book makin them out to be real.


  2. Anything original is good. Too many Fantasy books today are just getting their ideas from Lewis and Tolkien.

  3. The great thing about Fantasy is that you can make anything or anybody out to be real. There are no limits in that genre.

  4. They were in that Bill Murray Ghost Busters movie.  Go for it.
