  1. Abbey Theater, Gate Theatre, the Gaiety Theatre .... plus the universities have Drama Societies, where you can see plays for very little.

  3. You will actually have to look at the newspapers to see what is on when you are here.

    I have just been to the Recruiting Officer in the Abbey and it was rubbish.  Not all of the plays they put on are good.  I actually find the Gate Theatre now better for quality of plays.  

    All of the theatres put on plays from various places, so you might not be lucky on your visit.  e.g. Arthur Miller, Dickens, Chekhov.  But there are also some good Irish dramas.  You could check out the websites of the theatres to see what might be coming.
