  1. Check the picture resolution of your display; say 1360x765 or 1920x1080.  if it can display at least 720 lines, it is HD ready.


  2. If you just bought it in the U.S. and it's brand new then it's 99% likely to be ready for the digital broadcasting.

  3. Check for the 'HD' sign on the booklet or on your TV surface.
