Were is a good fun place to take the family camping?

Im looking for a fun place near chicago, il to take my family camping for the weekend. can anybody tell me were are some please. can i get complete details please, it will be our first time going camping

if you and your family aren't experienced campers you might want to choose a campground that offers a lot of fun activities.  something like a koa campground usually has stuff for kids to do, etc.  when i was a kid and we did road-trips that was always something we looked forward to.
