There is a company name Harris Ice  Co. located at 3923 W. 5th Ave near Pulaski Rd 773-826-3110 and than there is Lang Ice Co.3604 W. 59th Pl. 773-735-5000. Both companies sell the large bags of snow cone ice and the price is very reasonable.

If you mean to eat or make a snowcone with, just use a food processor to chop ice cubes.

If you want to have a snowball fight, go around to the back door of any ice arena, and find where the zamboni driver dumps the ice chips.  Bring a cooler, and go to town.
