  1. span cat .co

  2. Live the dream! Worldwide vacancies for holiday resort jobs, bar staff, chefs, housekeepers, childcare and many other amazing jobs worldwide

  3. in spain duh!!

  4. There are not many jobsat all for anyone not spanish! Whats more, they dont like to give contracts, which means you do not enter the social security system, so dont have health cover for starters unless you can afford private! There is a recession on here, there are not the visitors and with that, comes a reduction in jobs. Its also a little late in the year as this is now peak season and people will be starting to be laid off by the start of September. Pay is appalling, minimum wage here is less than 5€ an hour, and dont be fooled into thinking the money goes further, prices for everything are on the same level as the UK and in some cases, more expensive

  5. try to look for a job at a bar... Learn how they speak spanish because it's different than latin american/south american spanish...

  6. malaga

  7. try carerglobal.com  or jobtoasterspain.com or hotel career

    good luck amigo

  8. If you are looking for a job in Spain, the first thing to do is to learn to speak Spanish.  Most ex pats start their own businesses because they cannot get into the working environment.  If you do not speak the language, move to the costas, English is more widely spoken there and there are lots of opportunities for bar and catering work, however, at a price! The hours are long, the pay is low and unless you make yourself self employed and pay your own equivalent of National Insurance you will not be entitled to any of the social security benefits that the Spanish get.  this includes medical cover and pension.  Typical national insurance is €200 a month, but a private health care plan could cost anything from €50 -€150 a month.  A recent visit to the private clinic for a minor ear infection cost me €250, think what would happen if you were in an accident or had a serious illness.

Life in Spain has many advantages, moving inland away from the costas has cheaper house prices, cheaper rents, cheaper cost of living, but fewer people who speak English and jobs are scarce.  What qualifications in catering do you have?  Are you talking ´´chef´´ or ´´waiter´´ or bar staff? An alternative would be to go to one of the bigger cities such as Barcelona or Madrid, but at the end of the day speaking the language is the major advantage.  Buen suerte!
