  1. You give the cruise line a deposit and they will tell you when it is due in full. Now one really neat thing to do is if you do go on a cruise with Princess, you can give them $100 per person deposit for any future cruise you want, even if you don't have a clue what that cruise may be. This is good for 5 years and if you do not go on another cruise with princess, they will refund the entire amount back to you just by asking. By doing this you would not have to pay in full for the cruise till about 45 days in advance. So a $100 holds your cruise for you.

  2. I booked my cruise in February (I'm cruising in August) my travel agent asked for a $250 deposit per person and told me my cruise had to be paid in full by June 13...so I made random payments until it was paid for.

Don't "think" about going ona cruise...just do it!  I recommend Royal Caribbean.  I hope you decide to go - you will NOT regret it.  Best fun you can ever have is on a cruise...you WILL be treated like royalty!!

  3. Most travel agents want it all paid for at the time you book it. If you book threw the cruise line you put down a deposit and then pay the balance. The earlier you book the more time you will have. Not sure about on line sites but, would think they are like agents and would want the money up front. I have been on over 20 cruises & all but, 1 booked threw the cruises line.

  4. It depends on where and how long in advance u book it. The closer to the cruise depature the more u will have to put down.
