  1. If you feel like you're the kind of person who can keep up with a guinea pig in need, go for one in a rescue center or refugee.

If you just want one because you want it, get it from a Petsmart, Petco or some breeder. They usually have all their shots and are very healthy.

  2. Pets at home. They have a good reputation and they are nice to their animals and they can offer you some advice and care on how to care for your guinea-pig. And on their website they have a really helpful site which i used before i got my glyns.

    Hope i helped .x.

  3. petco. or petsmart, they give them a clean bill of heatlh, shots, and spayed, or nuters them.

  4. why not? there cute, funny, and very easy to take care of

  5. Rescues are always really nice, help a guinea pig in need. First link is Petfinder, second link has guinea pigs that are being given away if you're interested.

  6. you can go to petfinder or the SPCA or a animal shelter or if you get it from Petsmart it already has its shots

  7. Rescues are the best.  You can get it at a pet store like Petco or Petsmart too, but if you get a female from a pet store, be prepared for babies.  They are supposed to be seperated from males, but those people at those places don't know how and don't care.  We got one and ended up with 3 babies.  Babies are cute and great, but then you have to worry about finding homes.

  8. well i got my chinchilla at petsmart. u don't have to give them shots or anything they have already had them. guinea pigs too.

  9. Breeders, Pet Adoption Homes, Pet Stores
