The maglev record is just a little faster than SNCF's new rail speed record.

Sorry, jiiwan, but unless this footage was captured in slow motion, this train was traveling waaaaaay below 300 MPH, which was a good thing for the idiots trying to cross the tracks in front of it.  Probably would have sucked everyone else of the platform to boot.
