Do the people of China feel proud of their communist regime ? 'the preservation of the republic of China comes first and if a million of its people who oppose it must die for this preservation, then so be it' - is that the right way forward for China ?

are the Dalai Lama in the wrong in any kind of way for their antics ? are they the culprits and villains in all of this ?

  1. I think so

  2. To the USA point of view, ANYONE who wishes to protest peacefully against a government they consider repressive is doing the right thing.

"If a million of its people who oppose it must die"  - You sound like either a brainwashed dupe of the Chinese government or an actual government employee of China POSING as someone else in order to plant a (really STUPID) thought.

Tibet was obtained by conquest but unlike Kuwait, didn't have enough friends to stand up to China.  Now, years later, the illegal conquest of Tibet comes back to haunt China.  Tough publicity for a repressive government that wants everyone to think well of it.  But we know that they are still so seriously repressive that more than just Tibet would want to secede if they could.  I'm hoping I live long enough to see the communist meltdown of China.

The former ruler of Tibet is not a culprit or villian.  CHINA is purely the villian.  Antics?  You know NOTHING about protests and why they occur.

"The preservation of the republic of China comes first" - No it doesn't.  The welfare of its people come first.  If Tibetan people find that Chinese oppression is unacceptable, it is because China forgot that the people are more important than the government.

Like the line in the movie "V for Vendetta" - A government should fear its people, not the other way around.

  3. I don't think the Chinese feel at all proud of their current situation.

But what can they do? I wouldn't stand up to a government that would kill me for it.

  4. depends on your point of view. from my own the dalai lama is the leader of a legitimate movement which aims to achieve freedom and self determination for its people. it has been considered acceptable in the past for people to wage war and commit what some consider terrorist actions to achieve these aims.

  5. How much land and how much net worth does the Dalai Lama have?  How much would he then have after the Chinese economic giant comes in?

  6. The Dolly Lima should have non-violent protests, HMMMMmmmmmmmmmm.
