The Stealth Fighter, before its existence was acknowledged, and may other experimental aircraft (maybe even some that are disk shaped in the manner of flying saucers) hang out in Area 51 all of the time. It's not surprising that people report a lot of unidentified aircraft in that area.

I do know that that's where all of the old spy and new stealth planes were developed and test flown. What else is there? No one will ever know for sure. Perhaps, in another 20 years, something else will show up on the horizon.

The US Air Force has been actively involved in TOP SECRET classified aircraft development since the 1940's. As a former US Air Force Security Policeman, and having guarded some of the military's highest classified aircraft, military bases, nuclear weapons and documents I can say without a doubt that the Air Force has "Skeletons in the Closet" that they do not want to EVERRRR make public. This involves reverse engineering projects using magnetic force fields, nuclear propulsion systems, use of laser beams as weapons, Stealth technology, Cloaking technology, anti-gravity propulsion systems, classification and anatomical research of aliens (what they call EB's or Extra-terrestrial beings...or sometimes called B-FAP's or Beings from Another Planet), autopsy and research of the aliens and sharing of photo reconnsiance and satellite photos of the Earth and other planets from Hubble telescope and other unmanned space missions. NASA also has a special photography division which specializes in re-touching of NASA photos to spin their story any way they want to. NASA, the CIA, the FBI and the NSA know far more information than they are letting on.

According to the buzz that I have heard on the storage of the B-FAP's, they have NEVER been housed at the Area 51 complex in Nevada. They have always been stored in a secret underground medical research facility at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. The B-FAP's that were recovered from the Roswell Crash and many others were immediately flown to Wright Patterson. They are stored in a special refrigeration facility under TIGHT SECURITY where medical testing has been ongoing since they were discovered in 1947.

There are MANYYYY good books on these topics. Do a Google search to find the best ones. Many are at the county or city libraries.

if you mean like ET then i'd have to say no. Our presidents can't keep adultery,drinking,spying,... out of the media, so i sure don't think they could keep an alien from outer space under wraps.

Area 51's UFOs are just myths. The U.N. would more likely have access to that technology than one single government.

who knows if we will ever know.  my bf's dad was at a base right next to area 51, and theres always planes going in and out of that place.  if you work there, you are sworn to secrecy.  i think theres something funky going on there, either e-t, or something bad that would put the government to shame that they want none of the people to know about.

Area 51 is/was a top-secret base used to test new advances and experiments in aircraft and space technology.  The SR-71 was developed and tested there, as were the Stealth bomber and Stealth fighter, kinds of UAV drones, and probably dozens of other aircraft that were either never-manufactured prototypes or are already in secret use (such as perhaps a replacement for the SR-71, which was retired a few years ago.)

If you go to Google Earth, you can actually see photos of the base, indicating that it's not THAT secret.  Notable is a very long runway, like the kind you'd need to land a space shuttle or some other high-altitude high-velocity air/spacecraft.

Sightings of these planes (which were naturally painted in colors to disguise them - just like automakers disguise prototype cars) and/or their experimental engine tests, plus your standerd human paranoid about secrecy, and the mental need of UFO enthusiasts to have some form of validation of their otherwise unsustainable beliefs, have led to their activities being misinterpreted as those of aliens or secret captured UFO's.

It is really unknown to the public what is in area 51, according to property owners in Roswell New Mexico (the place were are 51 is and were the UFO landed) say that they saw two dead, short, Grey, bodies ad one alive walking alive. in my opinion i think they do have the bodies and the spacecrafts that crashed and are studying them. the government just doesn't want to scare people

Unidentified Flying Objects are just that. They are not alien space ships. They more often are Prototype aircraft etc. that Governments/Defense Agencies want to keep under wraps.

In that sense I expect area 51 did from time to time play host to such machines.
