  1. actually yes there was called    Omnivores

  2. Yes, they're called omnivores. Some are the oviraptor, and the ornithomimus.

  3. Yes

  4. Certainly, although it's hard to tell which ones may have done so, because omnivores tend to be more generalized when it comes to the features normally used to tell an animal's diet... such as teeth... and when those features are generalized rather than specialized, it makes it harder to determine what the animal would have eaten. You also can't be sure which meat-eating animals nibbled on plants from time to time, or which plant-eating animals had a taste for flesh. Living hummingbirds and parrots are known to eat nectar and fruits, respectively, but both will eat insects and other small critters in order to supplement their diet with protein.

A small relative of Oviraptor known as Caudipteryx was found with part of a smaller animal in its belly, and also stomach stones, which are usually found in plant-eating animals; presumably it ate both plants and small animals. Another small dinosaur, Psittacosaurus, is generally believed to be a herbivore but one was found with bits of bone in its belly, which it had apparently eaten. The 'raptor cousin, Troodon, is also suspected to have been an omnivore based on the shape of its teeth.

Other possible candidates include the ornithomimosaurs, such as Gallimimus, Struthiomimus, Ornithomimus, etc.

  5. Try as search on "Ornithomimus" and "Oviraptor"

    Hope this helps!
