Question:

Were there any major wars after 1950?

I am trying to write a great fictional book, and to create a logical basis, I need to find out the number of civilans killed in any wars during the last 58 some years. Thanks.

    Sino-Indian War (1962)

  5. Well Korean War, Lost alot of good men and woman in that one,

    Viet Nam, Most of your parents best friends gave there lives there,

    but if your looking for civilans killed it's going to be alot harder since most are not documented.

  6. Well, there were the decolonization wars across the world. Then, of course, there is the War on Terror. Off the top of my head, this is what I can think of

    Korean War

    Vietnam

    East Timor and Indonesia

    Iran-Iraq War

    Persian Gulf War

    All those events in Kashmir

    Yugoslavia
