Wasn't life so much more straightforward? Headaches were farther and fewer in between? More family time. No freeway traffic jams etc.

  1. ARE YOU NUTS!  how could they watch the Simpsons?

  2. No way, most medical equipment runs on electricity. No T.V. would stink during football season and new years eve, etc. No movie theaters? No microwave (hot pockets, dude!)? No blenders for margaritas and pina coladas? No stereo? No lights (candles are a fire hazard). No fridge or freezer means cold beer and no ice cream. No electricity would really stink!!!

  3. no-things are much brighter now especially at night

  4. No health care, no media, no refrigerator, no long-term storage of food, no medication, no plastics, no cheap products, no long distance communication.

If you like that sort of thing....

  5. hello AT the moment we are using electricity with these here computer unless you are running by battery..I reckon in this age and time you

would still get the freeway traffic if in the city..bit scary without the lights...Hey man or woman...I would love to live the Life without electricity..the Pioneers did it..It was simple..And they did get by

In there way..WHAT HAPPENED was accepted..ONE day It will be the

Rich that can afford the Power that is supplied...I do like the old way

More peace and harmony..the acceptance of what happens

  6. Well, I was in the big Northeast blackout of the summer of 2003 and we went without power for 26 hours.  It was definitely quieter and it freed up time to work on long-overdue projects and get some reading done, since I couldn't do anything else, but all in all it wasn't fun.  Going through that experience made me realize how much we take civilization for granted and even with the hustle and bustle/headaches/traffic jams it is a pretty nice thing to have light in the nighttime, electric motors to run everything, not to mention air conditioning in August!

Without electricity civilization stops dead in it's tracks.
