Try pyramidairsoft.com, especially around a holiday (almost any) for a discount. They have a lot of stuff. Also try airsplat.com (I don't like them as much, but they are ok.)

You should check out evike.com. They have tons of different brands of airsoft. If you wan't a better version than the chinese brands go with Echo 1. If you are willing to spend a little more try a Tokyo Marui. Don't go with ICS or Classic Army as I have been told that they require a lot of maintaining and maintanence.

For the record, the good ones come from Japan, the cheap junk comes from china and Taiwan...

I don't know of any ice brand. But ICS is a brand.

In my experience, www.redwolfairsoft.com is the best site for airsoft.

If you want a M4 I'd suggest a Western Arms gas rifle or a G&P AEG.

For a Kalashnikov, its between G&G, Classic Army, and VFC.

Also, please note that any short Kalashnikov labeled AKS47 is actually a Krinkov SMG. So fat I have never seen an actual AKS 74 in airsoft.
