Were to get a pet lion

im looking to buy a pet lion but i dont no were to start from so i need help

A LION!? Are you serious? Lions may be cute and just the size of a small dog when they are young, but they will grow up to be like 2 to 300 hundred pounds! They are unpredictable, dangerous, and need more than you can probably provide like large amounts of fresh, healthy meat, a large, secure space to run and play, and plus, I think that it is illegal. You can't just go buy a lion at a pet store and keep it in your room feeding it hamburgers and teaching it to play fetch. Reconsider this. It's not like it is in the movies. Lions aren't like dogs or kitties. They can hurt you, even if it isn't on purpose. It's cruel to take a lion, if you even can, to cut it's teeth and nails for your enjoyment. They aren't pets or best friends. They are wild, powerful animals who deserve more then being locked up.

You can't buy one. It's illegal unless you own a reserve and are licensed. Stick to household pets. Owning a lion is cruel, they belong in the wild or in reserves for protection. They are not pets, they are wild animals as they should be.

You cant own a lion or cub or any animal similar besides your average cat. If you are really interested in getting closer to a lion than look into  reserves, zoos, wildlife park, and volunteer etc. If you prove yourself on a volunteer basis then you could increase your status but this takes years and lots of training!, then you might be able to acquire a permit and licence to house those kind of animals and then you would have to have the correct facilities to house them, you wouldnt own them as such anyway you would be a carer and they would be there for a specific reason eg for rehabilitation for the wild or because the are unable to be set free into the wild or they are there because they need medical treatment etc.

The animals really cant be domesticated... sorry
