Were you adopted?

Do you have any interest in looking for your birth parents, or are you satisfied w/ your adopted family?

My sister was adopted, my birth sister I guess you would say... I'm glad that she found her birth parents and me. She has a wonderful adopted family.

I was not but I did research for a number of people who were adopted and wanted to locate and meet their birth  parents.  I also declined cases where I discovered that a wife or husband or child were pushing the adopted person to seek out their birth parents. I eventually had to stop accepting cases because the emotional load was unbearable after a number of years.  This is extremely intense work and I believe a good, mostly successful researcher can not help but get emotionally involved. The search is usually successful if done for the right reasons and never abandoned. I encourage anyone to search if they must.  It is my belief that all people have a need to look into the face of another person and see features of their own.  I think this is a deep psychological need. In many cases it must be done.

Im always going towant to see me birth parents but my adopted parents are the best :)
