I thought it was too funny that all 5 Roush/Fenway cars and 2 DEI cars were found to have illegal gears in them before the pit crew challenge yesterday. If they are trying to get an edge in something like that what lengths do you think they might go to to get an edge in points paying races? I'm really not trying to stir the pot, I just didn't know how many caught that last night LOL

  1. I didn't hear that, but it does make you wonder what teams will do to get an edge in a points race.

  2. There's that word 'cheat' again.  I know I'm sick of it, and I'm sure alot of other people are as well.

  3. they could atlest try to cheat on a real race. like Chad Knaus.

  4. d**n i had now idea, i missed it on tv last night, ima have to catch it when its on again.........thats nuts tho about them cheating.  i'll admit that im a Jr fan, but I like Truex too.  Truex just needs to leave DEI and Hendrick needs to let Mears go and put Truex in the 5 car.  about Roush tho.........5 cars......d**n, thats just crazy!!!

  5. i heard that. the reporters (at least one of them) tried to claim it was a "gray area" that i guess was made black-and-white before the competition.

and what's with the finding random small people to put in to steer and stop some of the cars?  i know  they are shooting for least driver weight, as the cars had to be the same weight without the driver.

but come on, jeff gordon, both busch brothers, ragan, and others got in their cars.  why didn't johnson, vickers, harvick, junior, hamlin and the rest ride in theirs - at least for the fans?  i know that puts stewart and robby gordon's teams at a disadvantage (especially stewart's because robby's team wasn't even in it), but come on...

    ;-)

  6. I saw that there were a bunch of them last night but I didn't realize it was that bad.  Jeez people your gonna get caught why take the risk?  I agree with you Steve if they are going to cheat at a no point competition what will they do on the track for points races.

  7. Shame on Matty and the rest of the Roush Fenway team's

  8. It is a fight for survival. Just because you are trying to get the edge on the competition doesn't actually mean you are cheating the competition. Everyone wants to win, and if you can get away with a smaller lighter gear then I say go for it. if you get caught with the gear. Shame on you better luck next time. That is why there is competition. Where would the fun be if everyone played by the rules all the time.

  9. Yea i herad about that and i was a little disappointed from the Rosuh Teams.

  10. It was even funnier watching the jackman from JRS team with the big mouth at Richmond forget to drop the jack costing his crew the win.  Duh!

Thats interesting stuff though.  I didn't hear that.

  11. I didn't hear that - too funny!  Guess that's the only chance they have to cheat and not lose points or money.  lol

    Thanks for sharing.

  12. In Jack's defense, it's cuz Michael Waltrip has his swaybar..

    (jk)

  13. Wow, I missed hearing that! At least this time we aren't having to call HMS "cheaters".

  14. I didn't know that, and Jack got his panties in a bunch over a sway bar.

  15. Jack Roush should be ashamed of himself.... for letting Teresa Earnhardt, talk him into doing such things !!

  16. I didn't catch that! That is pretty funny.
