Were you aware that the Lion Man is a woman beater?

I was horrified today upon learning of the past criminal convictions of Craig Busch aka The Lion Man of TVNZ's TV2. He nearly killed his ex-girlfriend! Do you think this guy deserves air time? I for one will be switching channels in the future.

Old news. I was wondering when this would service  Maybe Tony Veitch and his ex should of let the courts decide $8,000 is much better than $160,000.  I wonder if she is going to pay him back now or is the reason this has been found out is that she has spent the money already and now wants more!

If the animals where mistreated do you really think that they would stand for it.....they are big animals and could easily take him out if they were being hurt.

Thats like last century! as old as the hills. I reckon its pretty stink the name people have given the Lion Man. I bet they havent stop to think about why he layed a hand on his wife. Because shes a slag/s**t whatever you call a person whos married & just because her husbands out checking on his Lions she decides to cheat on him by jumping into another couples bed with them 4 a 3sim, now thats sick. So theres something to think about.....

That's old news. Didn't that come out last year? What about Tony Veitch? He did a lot worse. Although it's not a competition. It's gross what this society has become so accepting of this. These men should be up on grievous bodily harm charges.

I wont change the channel because of it. I never watched the Lion Man for the Lion Man. I watched it because I liked the lions and tigers.

I think there was alot of sympathy for Craig the Lion man when he assaulted his girlfriend after finding her naked in bed with another couple. While there should be no excuse for hitting some one, this would push many people to the edge of reason, even my wife couldn't condemn him. T

totally old news!! and oh my goodness all you people saying "i won't be watching him anymore" come on he did not nearly "kill" his ex girlfriend - that case is well and truly over and done with and don't you think he'd be in jail and not still airing on tv if he had in fact almost killed someone!!

sheesh!! grow up, if we based what we watched on tv by what we knew about every single star on the shows background then you might never turn the television on.

Fact is he has done a great job setting up zion wildlife gardens, and does a great job raising all those care white lion and white tiger cubs. bring on the lion man!!
