Were you aware there is only one true God?

Question

Christians and Muslims worship the same God. Buddhists and Confucians do not worship the Creator at all.

Christianity: Europe, the two Americas.

Confucianism: China, Japan, Korea...

Buddhism: Thailand...

If any above information contradicts with what hollywood has told you, please be cool. And answer honestly. I have got a feeling some atheists believe hundreds if not thousands of gods are worshiped in the world today.

Furthermore, if any book states Buddhists and Confucians do worship the Creator or any god-like entity, please show me a link.

I would say that Jews and Muslims worship the same God.  The reason I don't say Christians and Muslims worship the same God is because the Christian God is a Trinity and the Muslim God is not.  

Confucianism and Buddhism are both non-theistic religions.  They don't address the issue of their being a God.

Muslims and christians do not worship the same God. They have key people in both religious texts, but not the same God. If that were so, God's name in both books would be the same yet they are not Jehovah or Yahweh and Allah are not the same name they do not have the same meaning. Allah simply means god,Jehovah's name means He causes to become, depending on which christian denomination you are with it is something to that effect. But there is no same God worship.

You oversimplify the reality.

Just taking christianity.  It is not a homogeneous religion.  Within christianity there are easily thousands of denominations including the JWs, Mormons, SDAs, Quakers, Branch Davidians, etc.

Then there are the old religions which include the pantheons of ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt.  On top of that we also have the Norse pantheon and the Aztec and Mayan gods.

ONE has no beginning and no end, it is not conditioned by space or time, formless yet within it are essence and power of creation.

Different religions address the Realty with different names and characteristics. Some called Reality as God, as Voidness, as Allah, as Ultimate, as Divine Spirit, as Cosmic Energy etc. All the same, they mean an absolute creator; absolute being one and only one creator. There cannot be another one creating the creator. He is absolute. If two persons were to debate that "this My God and your God is not", then I must say both cannot hold stand since God is One. Both has failed to comprehend intuitively the concept of oneness of God.

The “creator” is not what we imagine as a powerful person waving his hand and say, voila, you are created. The creation process is more complex than that.

If we look at the scriptures of Daoism, we will be amazed about how Dao (God) is called. It said: The creator (Dao) has no name (and need no name). Why? The creator is ONE and there is not a need to identify another since there is only ONE. Why is there a need for a name? In fact, in Daoism, it is said that if you call God (Dao) a “God (Dao)”, then, the God (Dao) you called is not really a God(Dao) since a name has been given. Such is the deep understanding by Lao Tzu the founder of Daoism.  But because we live in this relative world, we humans, depending on speeches and languages for communications, somehow need to address the creator. Unfortunately, religions of the world addressed “God” by different names. Hence the confusions arise.

First, your information is wrong.  Buddhism is, at its core, neither Theist or Atheist.  Buddha didn't say much on the subject one way or the other.  There are plenty of Buddhists who do believe that there is a God.

Second, yes, I do believe that there is One True God, in that there is a God, and there is only one of Him.  But that doesn't mean that one religion has a monopoly on the understanding of God, although I'm sure nothing I could ever say will change what you think.

Christians know Jesus was God in flesh.  He was the son of man in flesh and son of God in spirit.

beacuse they are not the same! Many say that Muslims who follow the Qu'ran word for word are in effect worshipping the Devil, as some of the scripture can appear very evil and appear to incite them to kill non-believers etc. (Which is still acceptable in the eyes of Saudi Arabian Law)

Both religions believe they are worshipping a 'one true God' and partly due to this, there is conflict between the muslim religion and Christian Faith.
