This fight didn't live up to the hype for me. Both fighters were a little gun shy from the first fight.

  1. too much respect from both fighters.  Didn't see many hard punches being thrown or landed.  Alot of Jabs in this fight.  Taylor didn't do enough to take the belt but I didn't feel as though he lost by 6 rounds.

  2. I was upset with the commentators. HBO pretty much retired Taylor who was their boy after he beat Hopkins. I also thought it was a closer fight. It was not for a belt so you can't say that there was a challenger. Taylor landed the harder punches. I am curious to see who they both fight next.

  3. I was a little disappointed but only because it didn't end in a KO.  I still liked the fight because both men showed that they were truly to of the best boxers around.

  4. I wasnt. I told everybody actually how this fight would go after watching the first one. The only reason why Taylor came out swinging for the fences is the fact that he had something to prove. When any time a fighter has to prove to his own fans that he still can fight, thats what type of fight you get, the same type of fight we got from Taylor in Taylor-Pavlik 1.

  5. yes very.

neither seemed to want to impose their will on the other.

neither displayed the ability to counter punch even if their life depended on it.

neither had a combo outside of 1,2 combinations. taylor throw the most ragged hooks i've ever seen in my life.

  6. yes. i expected more too

  7. The first one was better excitement wise, but the second one showed that both fighters were able to change their game plans when they needed to.
