Were you disgusted with tonights episode of eastenders?

I watch eastenders on a regular basis. and now I am coming to the point where i think to myself, i don't wanna watch this show any more! It is umbelieveavle how ridiculous the show is becoming. the storylines are getting obscene and todays was disgusting to watch seeming as its only half 7-8. when kids are watching it. It disturbed me seeing him die like that and the jay's reaction also did. who agrees? I will guarantee you all there will be complaints!!!

I totally agree with you it was too `heavy` and `graphic` for that time in the evening as you point out lots of kids watch at that time .

Iam a lot older then you and I have to say it disturbed me too. I think the BBC will be getting loads of complaints.

yes i think it was a bit harsh for b4 water shed! but its just one of them things people enjoy watching. it was a very heart breaking episode and i enjoyed it and it was tense and very warming 2 watch. they should be proud of the emotional side they achieved!!!

No - it wasn't too graphic.  There was a bit of blood but that was all.  

I think it was very good and the young actor playing Jay was excellent.  I don't think that there will be many complaints ... if there are then people don't have much imagination, do they?  I am sure that kids see much more in films which they can see on other channels.

I'm 27 and I was pretty disturbed by Jase's death as well.  I know we didn't actual see him getting beaten to death but the way it was done, it didn't really leave much to the imagination.  I don't watch Eastenders regularly, only now and again, but I agree that tonight's episode was pretty harsh viewing for pre-watershed.

i'm 13 and it didn't freak me out! death happens! i know a 2 yr old that has terminal cancer and she's gunna learn about death soon enough!

i thought it was sad, but I'm 19 so I can kinda focus that it is only a story.... however... I can understand how images like on tonights show it must be disturbing!!

~I wouldn't be happy with my kids (when I have them!) watching it, young kids watch the show just before bed I guess?

I agree that the show is getting ridiculous, but as for the Jase storyline and tonight's episode, to be fair you see worse on Holby City and Casualty which is on at about the same time.

Mind you I felt the same about Corrie this week ie the bedroom scene with Dev ????

i stopped my daughter watching eastenders a couple of months back as the story lines were getting to deep -

i think they need to decide whether it is going to be a gritty programme therefore put it on at a later time, or cut out some of the c**p they are putting on there,
