  1. yep. i was in primary skool when i was really young and i used to cry wen mi mum left me at skool, and then when i told my mum she told the skool and 1 thing led to another then he left :) - this happened ages ago and btw i still remember his name

  2. I think that people don't realize that there are different levels of bullying.  Many kids are teased, taunted, mocked, called names and laughed at.  But sometimes it goes deeper than that.  In 8th grade, I had a girl showing me a knife daily and telling me that today was the day she was finally going to kill me.  Then she'd cut her own arm to show me how crazy she was.  It sounds ridiculous now, but when when you're eleven and tiny and she's fourteen and huge, you kind of take it personally.  Her and her lackeys held me down and rubbed an entire jar of Vaseline in my hair.  Her boyfriend p*issed on my bike.  The list of the things they did to me and other kids could be considered criminal.  But back then, there was nothing you could do.  Adults would tell you to be tough and learn to look after yourself.  Unfortunately, that doesn't work if you're a lamb and most of the others are sheep.

EDIT:  Once again, I have to agree with Curly.  I was also bullied by teachers.  Something about intelligent but quiet children really seems to get under their skin.

  3. I got bullied in high school.  I still remember the people.   I was also made fun of a lot, which kept me inside a little shell for years.

  4. no...prolly because I always hung out in groups of my classmates/friends. Or with girlfriends.

  5. Yep.  It has lasting effects, on both the bullied and the bully.  On the upside though, I've actually had people who bullied me apologize - once they grew up, they realized what a ludicrous thing it was to do in the first place.

  6. Yes, I was in year 5.

I was called fat, spotty (Becase of my freckles everywhere on my face) and horrible. I got really upset, and the teachers did not do anything, so I got taken out of school.

  7. To some degree almost every one is.  It is like fish in the ocean.  Even the biggest bully is probably bullied by some kid older than him.

  8. Everyone is bullied at a point in their life. Me, I wasn't a bully but I was a person who was like the head of the student body. I judge people by how they look and I hate myself for that. Now, I forgot that already.

  9. Yep. These three girls would always make fun of me and pick on me. Now I'm friends with two of the three.

  10. Only by the teachers, but that did scar me for life.

    :D

  11. We had this Bully named Mark Carlson. I was about 7 and when my little brother and me walked home from school,he would run up from behind, and flip me over his shoulder. One day ,my sister, brother, friend and myself was coming out of the supermarket after getting some RC Colas to drink while watching " The Monkeys" on TV. We already had them open, (the sodas) and was walking out the doors heading for home.Well, here comes Mark Carlson and jested like he was going to flip me. Boy Howdy! He never got the chance this time! I shook up my soda hard, squirted it in his face, and hit him square on the top of the head with the bottle! It smashed to smithereens! He never bothered me after that!

  12. Yes.  I think everyone is.  My sisters were picked on also.  My daughter has trouble with a few mean girls in her class too.  It's not a perfect situation...but believe me, it doesn't do you any lifelong damage.  It might seem like a huge deal right now, but a year or two after you get out of school, you probably won't be able to remember the names of the people who picked on you.

  13. yes.and its not fun.

  14. Only by a college professor, and he lost.  At home was another story.  And bullying does have lifelong effects.  They said I was too stupid to learn to read.  Then they were jealous when I got my degrees and they didn't.  So they claimed that I did it because they inspired me by their criticisms.  I did it because I got encouragement from outside, not to show them up.  I've just always wanted different things than they did.  And yes, they were bullied at school.  The same year that 3 little boys told me I was beautiful, a little boy stabbed my sister's wrist with a pencil.

  15. No actually.

Well, I only went to public school till the 5th grade.

But I wasn't, nor did I ever see anyone being picked on....

But I'm sure people have, I just never saw it....
