If you were did your insurance get you a caravan, and if they did, did they pay you expenses for eating out etc. If they did or you know someone like this, how much allowance did you/they get? My insurance is making my life stressful saying we are not intitled to anything.

  1. What insurance are you talking about?  If you experienced a flood, homeowner's insurance does not cover that - only flood insurance does.

  2. Where are you writing from, and what kind of insurance you are talking about? . I sold insurance for years, and have no idea what a "caravan" is, in relation to an insurance question about flood damage.  In the U.S,. flood insurance is issued separate from homeowners or renters coverage. You have to buy it, and pay the premium.

Here, you can go to a public adjuster and pay him/her and see if your claim can be negotiated. Why don't you read your policy? The provisions of the policy prevail. If your company has denied your claim, get professional help if you think they are not interpreting their contract properly. But, know what it says before you proceed. Good luck! Hope this helps.
