Were you rooting for CONCACAF teams in the OLYMPICS?

I thought it was good to see our lesser rivals (Honduras, USA, Canada) get a chance to see them compete in an International competition rather than the same old GOLD CUP. I thought we taught CONCACAF well.

BUT... boy, have they embarrassed us.

Despite all the haters in here talking bad about Mexico and saying that the US is better.....I Was rooting for them to move on!!  

WHY??  

Here at work......and I have told you guys in the past....we have a few European guys who believe that the UEFA is the best and that the CONCACAF is a joke!!  Talking that the world cup should only have teams from the UEFA with Brazil and Argentina only!!  Things like that really get to me!  In the last world cup when the United States was playing against Italy, with less players....I took my hat off to them because they manged to keep the score at 1-1 and Donovan was the only player attacking and still giving defenders a hard time!  I have friends from here in the states, Central America, South America, and Europe.  AND I have to say that the Europeans are the ones that talk the most!!  Saying that neither Mexico or the USA will ever win a world cup!!  So for me to see a team from the CONCACAF beat a team from the UEFA, that's more then enough for me!!  So that's why I root for the USA because I want to shut the Europeans up!!  Not even the Americans talk as much as the Europeans do!!

ANYWAYZ back on topic, the USA did good, probably could of done better had they not fouled at the last minute againts the netherlands, but you guys have to remember they were given the group of death, and the penalty that holland got was questionable, i just hope brazil wins now because skull pissed me off lol

I kind of was hoping the U.S. would atleast get bronze, but, oh well. Im still rooting for Brazil.

Acutally the US did great.  Tied the best team in the world and also beat Japan.  Played against a very strong Nigerian team (8 players in Serie A) with 10 men for 89 mintues.  Great job USA

Concacaf really sucks and has always sucked.  Argentina I think, will win the gold.
