Before I watched the game, I thought the Redskins would lose to the Colts. However they proved me wrong. They did excellent on the offensive side of the ball and didn't make any mistakes. Their defense was ok as well but they have looked better. But I was shocked to see them playing well as a whole. Were you surprised to see the Redskins win, and play well?

  1. no one can be surprised by a preseason win or loss.

    WHAT?

  2. it did not surprise me at all. every year the redskins get crapped on by the media and say they are terrible but they always have good teams, they just lose a lot of close games. there is always a spin on redskins opponents to make it seem like the opponent self destructed. i was notsurprisedd at all. also the def didn'tt start the d line and the middle lb fletchewasn'tnt playin

  3. Not surprised at all.  The Redskins have a lot of young talent.  With Zorn, the skins will open up the passing game a little more in addition to the old Skins running game.  Zorn may be new to the head coach position, but he's not new to the league. Mark my words, I know it's only preseason but the Redskins will be contenders.

  4. Yep.very

  5. No Cuz its preaseason.

  6. yeah I was

  7. The Skins are going to have a great season ecspecially when Santana Moss will get his game going and Jason Taylor will get in , and Not to mention Clinton Portis!!!

  8. Uh.. sorry to burst your bubble, but its pre-season. It really doesnt matter. Furthumore Manning isnt even playing right now...

  9. not suprised at all.

I am a COLTS FAN in all but we didn't have peyton he is the heart of the team. every1 wasn't in the game wait til the season REALLY starts u'll see how good they are w/ my man Peyton w/ his head in the game!

  10. The only thing that surprised me a little was the play of Colt Brennan , he did look good , but granted he was playing with second and third stringers , I wish him the best because he has faced a lot of criticism.

  11. the skins have a lot of young players that are trying to win the job.  the colts players are fairly entrenched in their positions.  I don't think the colts were really trying.  Except they were trying not to get hurt.

  12. no, because the colts were missing a lot of players

  13. yea actually the fact that its preseason makes all the difference. alot of teams throughout the entire preseason dont even play alot of starters. and the Colts have never been good in the preseason. in 06 the year they won the superbowl they didnt win and preseason games. simply because they dont matter. they are just warm ups. i guarantee you if that was a regular season game they would have won.

  14. I was surprised the Redskins executed the West Coast offense so effectively.  I think all of Campbell's passes were on 3-step drops, and when he planted his back foot, the ball was gone and accurately hit receivers running basic routes.

It was refreshing not seeing WR screens every other passing play.

  15. Yes, I was surprised as well. I thought with a new coaching staff the Skins would take a few steps back before moving forward. It doesn't matter that it was preseason. They called plays and they executed those plays. I walked away a little impressed with the Redskins.

  16. Not at all, I knew my Redskins would win!! They did really well and I was pretty impressed with some of the rookies.  Hope they keep it up!

  17. No, the Redskins were 4-0 as a franchise in the Hall of Fame game going into last night. Unfortunately, i missed seeing the 1st half but I was impressed by what the 3rd & 4th string guys did out there. Normally, the second half of pre-season games are extremely boring. The 2nd half last night was fun to watch IMO.
