Were you surprised of how direct and hard hitting Obama's acceptance speech was?

I thought his speech was very direct in making 29 different campaign promises of change.

i'm surprised that it is being called a "great" speech..i thought it was fairly lame and typical liberal speech..

Just saw the highlights. (Sleep was calling me last night.)  All I could hear was blah, blah, blah, yackity, schmackity.

The media is saying it was the "perfect" speech.  I found it ridiculous.  His lame attempt to tie McCain to Bush was poor at best.  The Republicans still don't identify with McCain, and even Bob Bechtel said he was an insurgent in the republican party.  So everytime the Democrats make this claim it shows how ignorant and out of touch with the country they really are.  So surprised, no, disappointed.
