  1. It's not near Andover, but Newquay is much recommended. It's very good for that age group. Party capital, and the campsites are cheap too. We went there when we were 16, and 8 of us shared a caravan in Trevelgue - http://www.trevelgue.co.uk/home.asp?id=1 (near the village of Porth, a couple of miles to the west of Newquay. You can get camping nearer the town though, but it will cost you a little more.

I went back a couple of years ago with my boyfriend, and we camped in Porth Beach Tourist Park - http://www.porthbeach.co.uk/touring.htm and they were really cheap. Again, it's in Porth, but the bus runs regularly and it only takes 30 minutes to walk into Newquay. Porth beach is also great, and far less busy than some of the others, although you may prefer to go to Fistral, Lusty Glaze, or Towan Beach.

If you don't want to go that far (I promise you it's worth it), you could try Bournemouth, which a couple of my friends did the same summer.
