The Liverpool chairman http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tom-c35214 Werner, expressed his confidence in Kenny Dalglish in reinvigorating the Reds, despite witnessing a dismal Premier League campaign this season.
The club parted ways with their Director of Football Damien Comolli on Thursday, but Werner revealed that the decision will not have any bearings on the Scott’s position.
Despite the fact that the Reds have plummeted to the 8th place in the Premier League table, and have witnessed their worst league run in almost sixty years, the 62 year reiterated his position that Liverpool will stick with Dalglish.
"We've got great confidence in Kenny. We feel the team is going to make strides in the future and he enjoys our full support," stated Werner.
Liverpool spent close to a 100 million pounds in signing new players under Comolli. Even though the American Television producer acknowledged the talent which lay in the squad, he expressed his dissatisfaction with the results in 2012.

"We feel there is enough talent on the pitch to win and we've been dissatisfied, as most supporters have been, with the results so far." He added.
When asked of the reason behind Comolli’s ouster, he pointed out that the club had apprehensions over the Frenchman’s signing policies, and he was unable to execute the LFC’s long term strategy effectively.
He mentioned that the summer transfer window was approaching, and they needed to react to the difficult situation at Anfield.

Even though Liverpool have failed to challenge for a place in the Champions League this season, Werner revealed that the club have drafted an effective policy for the coming season and expressed his resolve of taking the Reds to a new high.

The American conceded that they have failed to meet the targets set by the principal owner of Liverpool’s parent company, Fenway Sports Group this season. However, he was confident that the Reds can still make the current season a memorable one by lifting
