Wes Mannion the Crocodile Hunter?

What do you think of it? Wes Mannion from the Croc Files has agreed to star in a new series of the Croc Hunter after pressure from John Stainton and Terri Irwin to do so. Bindi will be appearing in a few episodes too. This surprised me because when asked earlier by journalists whether he planned to take over Steve Irwin's role he replied that nobody could fill those shoes. He is currently the Director of Australia Zoo working alongside his wife who is assistant manager and Terri Irwin the owner. The Crocodile Hunter series won't be the same without Steve but I'll still watch it. Wes is a bit of a larrikin himself and it'll be interesting to see how he handles the new job. It seems a bit soon to me is all but I guess the show must go on. So will you watch the new Crocodile Hunter?

Apparently it won't be all crocs either. Some of the filming will be aboard Croc 1 which is Terri's boat and there could be some shark footage. I reckon it could be smash hit.

h**l yes. I'll watch that. I was just talking to somebody about it. Sounds insane. I don't know if he'll be as funny as Steve. It used to crack me up every time he was bitten by something. I miss that guy. He was a true legend.

I think it sounds like an awesome idea.  Wes has had chunks of flesh bitten off by crocs so he's definitely use to the danger element!  I think Steve will be looking down from croc heaven proud and happy that his best mate is carrying on his work with Terri's blessing.
