The Nerazzurri midfielder has expressed his gratitude for the young tactician, and has stated that the former Primavera coach gave him the energy that helped him recover.

The Dutchman is currently training with his national side for the upcoming Euro 2012, and took some time to reflect on his feelings about the 2011-12 Serie A campaign with the Milan outfit, that saw him struggling with fitness
for most part of the season.
Sneijder stated that injuries are a thing of the past for him, and insisted that he is once again back to performing at his best. The Nerazzurri midfielder stated that after all the fitness problems, he was starting to believe
that he will never be able to get back to his prime form.
The Dutch playmaker revealed that he returned to playing a little too soon for the Beneamata after the first injury, because he was anxious to return and pushed himself to play in the field.
The former Real Madrid player stated that the Milan outfit was going through a tough time at that moment, and he was eager to come for help.
While talking to Metro, the 27-year-old said:
“Now I am back and am playing. However, when I had all those injuries, I thought I’d never get back to normal. Also I actually first came back to play too soon. I was anxious to return but also pressured to do so. The club needed
me and I wanted to help.”
Sneijder stated that he had to play under five different coaches with five different mentalities during his last two years at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, and pointed out that he was shuffled all around the formation by every new coach.
The Nerazzurri midfielder joked that he thought at one point that he will be asked to move behind the goal to catch the balls.
The Dutchman stated that he feels fortunate to have a manager like Stramaccioni, who not only gave him the energy to rise from the injuries, but also put things in order for the rest of the team.
