The Oranje cruised to a dominating 4-1 win over Hungary in the 2014 World Cup qualifier game, and the Inter Milan playmaker has expressed his satisfaction over his side’s performance away from home.

The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan playmaker admitted that the Oranje played a bit slow, and failed to use the wings in the opening 45 minutes. However, the former Ajax midfielder acknowledged that they staged an impressive show after the half-time
break to claim all three points comfortably at the end.
“The second half was great. We were positioned very well and every lost ball was ours. And on the wings we were very dangerous with the likes of Lens and Narsingh. In the first half we played too slow. We should have used our wings
a lot more, that was where the danger came from. We did that in the second half and from there we cruised to a 4-1 win over Hungary”, Sneijder was quoted as saying to SBS 6.
The 28-year-old, who joined the Serie A giants in the summer of 2009 after representing Real Madrid in over 50 matches, went on to insist that his side played a very compact game, and played with a genuine team spirit.
“We had a real team spirit, ran those extra yards for each other and played very compact”, Sneijder concluded.
