The man who has been constantly linked with other clubs all his life, has gone on to categorically state his intention of staying at the Nerazzurri outfit.
The highly rated midfielder has always been linked with moves away to other clubs and every major club seems to be interested in the services of the midfielder. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-Sneijder-c36799 was unhappy under the tenure of Claudio Ranieri, and he constantly complained on being played out of his natural position, that is whenever he started the match.
The fact that Internazionale were on one of their worst losing streaks did not do them any good and that just piled the misery on Sneijder who seemed to be looking for a move away from the club. Rumours suggested that Sneijder was attracting interest from the English Premier League, with Manchester United keen on landing the midfielder to solve their own midfield crisis.
However, ever since the arrival of Andrea Stramaccioni, things seem to have changed and the manager has brought back the lost smiles of the Nerazzurri faithful and the players as well. The Beneamata outfit jumped back strongly at the tail end from the disappointment of the 2011-12 season in general.
When the former Real Madrid midfielder was quizzed about his future, he went on to state that there is still time left in his contract and he hopes on seeing through his contract. He went on to state that the rumours are part and parcel of a footballer, and he does not let it affect him now.
He conceded that the rumours unsettled him before, but now it is not so bad. He remarked his admiration of the current Nerazzurri coach and remarked that he is in command of the players and in harmony with the club management as well.
He went on to state:
“I have never thought of leaving. I like this club, this city, this squad. And I also like the Coach. Andrea Stramaccioni understands the players, as does President Massimo Moratti. I’ve never thought that Italian football is in decline and I still don’t think that is the case.”
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan have had a mixed season so far, with a win and a loss in their opening two matches of the season.
