Wesley Sneijder not affected by Manchester United transfer talk
Manchester United have been linked with a move for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-Sneijder-c36799, for nearly as long as the transfer window has been active this season. The Red Devils have been looking to land a central midfielder and as a result, they have been
linked to one of the best in the business.
The Red Devils are reported to be contemplating a thirty five million pound move for the twenty seven year old, but so far, there hasn’t been any official activity over the transfer of Sneijder to United.
Despite that fact, it seems like the rumours regarding Sneijder’s move to United won’t go away. The press keeps claiming there is more to the situation than meets the eye and hence causing everyone to assume that there is a move in the making.
Nonetheless, it seems like Sneijder is not very affected by the situation the media has placed him in, as he seems to be more focused on other things.
The midfielder has stated that his main objective is to win big and that is all he really wants to focus on at the moment.
Sneijder, when talking about his future is quoted to have said: "I'm a footballer, I have many objectives and I want to win because I enjoy winning.
The player then went on to reveal that he appreciated Jose Mourinho the most, out of all the managers that he has ever played under, as he claimed the manager’s approaches both of and on the pitch were the best he has ever seen.
He said: "I've played for many coaches and each one has been different from the others, but Jose Mourinho is still the one I liked best both as a coach and as a man."
What’s interesting about the player’s comments regarding Mourinho, is the fact that the Portuguese manager is being regarded to be the only manager competent enough to take over from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson, once he retires.
With Mourinho currently at Madrid, it seems like he will only leave the Spanish side to join United. Now with Ferguson set to retire in the near future and Madrid already having released Senijder once, they are not going to be willing to sign him again.
As a result, this only leaves us with one logical conclusion. Sneijder will have to join United , if he ever hopes to play for Mourinho again.
Nonetheless, it is now a wait to see just how this transfer story unfolds itself.
