The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753 midfielder has revealed that he is looking for a move away from San Siro, stating that many will be eyeing his performance against England.
The Nerazzurri star has not been able to replicate his best form this season, having struggled in finding his former levels of fitness and performance.
Sneijder’s loss of form has reflected in Inter Milan’s loss of fortunes as well. Critics have been vociferous in their opinions, lamenting the Dutch maestro for not giving his 100 percent to the San Siro
outfit’s cause. However, the midfielder has not been utilised in his preferred position, which inadvertently reflects on the levels of his performance.
The former Real Madrid midfielder has been utilised in the hole between the two strikers, a role which the Dutchman is not comfortable operating in. This under-utilisation of the midfielder’s capabilities
has led to reports that Sneijder is not content at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.
The player has been linked with a lot of clubs, and in particular, interest from the Premier League has been reported many times. The former Ajax star was commenting on the game to be played against England,
and admitted that there will be eyes on him and he needs to perform well in the match to show everyone that he is still a star player.
The Dutchman was quoted to have said:
"I see the friendly with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 as a great stage on which to show off. This does not mean I want to get away from Inter, but certainly many clubs will be looking at tomorrow's [Wednesday's] meeting in London."
The inability of Inter Milan to utilise the midfield star is down to their manager, Claudio Ranieri, who has been accused of constantly tinkering with his squad. This tinkering has led to instability in the
squad, as they cannot find proper rhythm.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan’s run of defeats has increased to seven in their last eight games. Widespread reports suggest that Ranieri might suffer the chop if results do not improve imminently. Commenting on his withdrawal
in the match against Napoli, and his relations with Ranieri, the Dutchman stated:
"I'm not happy with that change [against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003] but I accept it. The team is looking for the best ways to get out of this bad spell and the coach is also working hard. Hopefully, we can manage it."
The Beneamata midfielder will be hoping that his performance against England sends the right signal across the clubs, who are in the market for him.
