Hi all!

I would like to know any information about West Beach suburb.

Are there private or public hospitals nearby?

Easy access to public transport? (the airport is between Adelaide and West Beach)

Is it recommended for a couple witth a 10 month baby boy?

Is it a nice area?

Thank you for your help.

  1. Yes, Yes, Yes, all good. Cheers.

  2. I live in Adelaide but I don't know that area particularly well.  I would think the nearest public hospital would be Royal Adelaide Hospital in the city. There are private hospitals around, definately some in Glenelg. Public transport I don't know but I'm sure there would be a regular bus to the city at least.

Nice suburb, perhaps just a little undervalued so probably a good buy, large shopping area in nearby Glenelg, local shops in West Beach itself. Good schools, safe. I would describe it as upper/middle.

The soil isn't terribly good near Adelaide's beaches (very sandy), so gardens tend to be a little limited.

Nearby Linear Park is a great bike/walking trail along the River Torrens all the way to the city. Many people who live in the area ride bikes to work, and kids ride it for fun.

I'm sure you would be very happy there.
