THAT WAS A FAIR GAME, West Coast totally dominated the first two quaters and it was pretty even within the third quater but in the fourth it was mainly controlled by essendon.

The eagles played so much more better in defence, midfield and their forward line was outstanding. Ben Mckinley booted 7 goals and its his first year in the AFL.

The essendon side lacked confidence in defence and the midfield, lyod was okay in the forward line i guess.

But the eagles deserved the win they got boot to ball extreemely well and won the game fair and square.

West Coast played superbly and deserved every little bit of the victory, Essendon played appalling for the first half then found some rhythm, but by then it was to late. Well done West Coast on the win, Essendon's season over.

Just got back from the game, every one was over the moon. It's really great now how the eagles players go up to the crowd and thank them, something they never did while they were winning. On the way back every one was talking about if we play like that against hawthorn, there is always a chance. I say we are looking absolutely fantastic for the future! I think i screamed at the final siren more then the whole stadium put together, great win boys!  11 of your best players out for the season and we can pull something off like that.  GO THE MIGHTY WEST COAST EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
