West Ham United eye Yannick Djalo
English Premier League side West Ham United are reportedly preparing a bid for Yannick Djalo, the 24-year-old Sporting Lisbon striker. The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984 international has been targeted by many European sides after impressive performances for Lisbon this season.
Djalo has made 26 appearances this season and has managed to find the back of the net 11 times. His excellent form for his club earned him a place in the national side, where he has made just a single appearance so far.
West Ham are willing to spend as much as £8 million on the striker, who would undoubtedly freshen up their attacking line-up. However, the Hammers would only be willing to spend that much if they manage to avoid relegation this season.

Liverpool are targeting Steve Defour, the 23-year-old Standard Liege midfielder, in a possible move to Anfield at the end of the season. The Belgian international has had experience playing the English Premier League, having previously played for Manchester

Defour joined Standard Liege from Racing Genk in 2006 and in only his second season was awarded the captaincy, despite being 19 years old. The 2007-2008 season was even more exciting for the player as he went on to win the Golden Shoe.
With being crowned the most valuable player in the Belgian League, he continued his brilliant performances and led his side to back-to-back Belgian titles. However, a broken foot in 2009 hampered his development, but he has returned stronger since then.
Since joining Standard Liege, Defour has made 119 appearances for the club in all competitions and has scored 13 goals. He has been playing for the national side since 2006 and has made 29 appearances and has scored one goal.
After having sold striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707 to Chelsea for £50 million in the January transfer window, Liverpool have some funds available to spend in the upcoming transfer window. According to sources, Defour is at the top of their list at the moment.
