West Ham United vs. West Bromwich Albion – six goal thriller ends in draw
West Bromwich Albion played host to West Ham United at home in what was a scheduled match in the Premier League.
However, the game was a crucial one for both the sides that were, currently struggling in, and, near the relegation zone. A win on the night was equally important for both sides.
The match was also the first game that West Brom played under new manager, Roy Hodgson.
The match kicked off with the home-side getting things off to a flier. In the 4th minute, Graham Dorrans collected the ball some thirty yards from the West Ham goal and went on to rifle an unstoppable shot that flew past http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robert-c31222 Green and into
the back of the net to give the home-side the early lead.
Four minutes later West Brom were back at it. In the 8th minute mark, West Ham gave possession away in the middle of the pitch. Fortune went on to collect the ball on the left flank and then teed up Jerome Thomas.
The forward then went on to curl an unstoppable effort from outside the area and beat Green with some distance. As a result West Brom were up by two goals in the opening ten minutes.
On the 32nd minute, things took a turn for the worse for West Ham. Dorrans whipped in a free-kick from thirty-five yards out, with some pace. The flight of the ball beat almost everyone in the area, but also happened to fly past Green and into
the back of the net.
The fact that no one got a touch on the ball, helped confuse Green, who stood almost no chance at stopping the ball from finding the back of the net.

on the ball. The ball then fell into the path of Carlton Cole, who nodded the ball into the back of the net, from around three yards out.
In the 84th minute, one of the come-backs of the season was completed. Mark Noble once again squared a ball to Demba Ba, who went on to smash the ball into the back of the net.
