Liverpool forward and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international, Andy Carroll has gone on to complete his move from the Anfield to join West Ham United on a season long loan.
It is believed that the contract has a stipulation which would allow the club to sign the player for seventeen million pounds, should the club stay afloat at the end of the season.
The striker went through his medical on Thursday and the deal seems to be wrapped up already.
"It's great to be here at West Ham and all signed up - I just can't wait to get started now," Carroll told the Hammers' official website.
"I want to be playing games and obviously hoping to score some goals. I know the manager well and some of the lads, so it is nice for me to come to a place where I know people.”
"I'm hoping to add a lot of goals and create a few chances. I know Sam from Newcastle and he was a massive reason for me coming. When I worked with him at Newcastle it was great so it was a no-brainer really."
Sam Allardyce was also delighted with the deal that he struck, as he thinks that Carroll joining the side will benefit them to a great extent.
His experience in the league is going to benefit the club out to a great extent and the fact that he adds a whole new dimension to the squad, can prove to be a great improvement to the team.
West Ham are going to be looking to stay afloat this season and in order to do that, they needed to bring in some good signings.
With them tapping up Carroll, following his uncertain future at Liverpool, it seems like the club is headed in the right direction.
However, the only challenge that arises, is the question of whether the player will prove to be a worthy addition to the squad or not.
His time at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 was not the best and he needs to start proving his worth, before start considering him to be a one hit wonder, during his spell at Newcastle United.
