The 25-year-old has urged his teammates to end the 2012 year on a high by claiming all three points in their upcoming Premier League game against Brian McDermott’s men on Saturday.
West Ham United midfielder, Mark Noble, has set his sights on bagging all three points in his side’s upcoming English Premier League games against Reading. The two sides will meet at Madejski Stadium on Saturday, December 29.
After earning promotion to the English top flight this term, the Hammers impressed many with their consistent showings in the opening weeks of the 2012/13 season. However, their erratic showings in the recent weeks have dropped them down to the 12th
spot on the table.
And the 25-year-old midfielder has admitted that 2012 has been a fruitful year for his side, while insisting that they will try their level best to finish the year with a win over Reading.
“It has been a good year for us. We got ourselves promoted, which was the main focus for all of us here at the club, so it would be nice to finish off 2012 with a win and start off as we hope to go on in the New Year”, Noble was quoted as saying to the club’s
official website.
The Royals, who are sitting at the 19th spot on the league table, have thus far deceived their fans with abysmal showings. However, the Hammers midfielder has insisted that his side will face a stern test at the hands of Brian McDermott’s men.
“It will be a difficult game at Reading. They might be at the bottom of the table at the moment, but that doesn't make it easier. They are at home and we know from last season what a hard place it is to play at. But we are in good spirits and confident that,
if we play to our best, then we can get something”, Noble concluded.
The 25-year-old, who started his professional career at the Boleyn Ground in the 2004/05 season, has thus far donned the jersey of the Hammers in well over 200 league games, netting 25 goals while setting up plenty more along the way.
He would be hoping that his side could manage to claim a good result at Madejski Stadium on Saturday to finish the 2012 year on a high.
