West Ham roar back to snatch a point from West Brom
Avram Grant’s fighting West Ham side produced a stunning comeback against West Bromwich Albion to earn a vital point at the Hawthorns. The home side was leading 3-0 at half-time and it looked to be over, but the visitors scored three goals in the second-half,
stunning the Baggies. events.
It was a crucial game as both sides are struggling at the bottom, looking to avoid the drop zone. The home side had a disappointing week after having lost 3-0 to Manchester City. The defeat led to the sacking of Manager Roberto Di Matteo and Michael

minutes later, after a cool finish from Carlton Cole from a Frederic Piquionne header. Demba Ba completed a historic comeback for the Londoners in the 84th minute, smashing the ball behind the net from a Mark Noble cross. It was indeed
a dream debut for the Senegalese forward scoring two goals.
By the end it was a fair result with both sides finishing at 3-3. West Ham moves one place to 19th in the league while the Baggies stay in 17thplace above Wigan on goal difference. West Brom next game is against the
Wolves at home, while the Hammers take on high flying Liverpool at Upton Park.
